Introducing

Cathia LaForge

a European Designer from Belgium and an avid scrapbooker who loves the Shabby Chic look. Currently residing in Montgomery with her family for one year while her husband attends Air Command and Staff College (ACSC).

Distinctive Scrapbooks will be displaying Cathia’s

gorgeous work in preparation for her classes beginning in January 2010.

We invite you to take a close look at the numerous techniques done on each page. Observe her use of color and black & white. Notice the dimension achieved by layering paper and embellishments. Use of different mediums in each layer provides texture and adds interest. Forcing the eye to more across the page and enjoy all the elements of scrapbooking. Experience scrapbooking from a European perspective at your local scrapbook store.
