Distinctive Scrapbooks opened for business in July 2005.
Our mission is to create a pleasant, fun environment to help customers create scrapbooks that solidify their photo memeories and preserve them for lifetimes to come.
Our objectives are:
1. To stock our store with unique papers and embellishments not found in the big box craft stores.
2. To track our prices and and our competitors and offer our customers the best price possible.
3. Stay abreast of the newest trends and techniques in the scrapbooking industry. Then offer classes on these techniques that will enhance our customers scrapbooking experience and their pages.
Custom Albums
You say you aren’t creative, but would still love to have a scrapbook! We can do it for you! Bring your photos in, tell us your story, and we’ll put the scrapbook together for you. Prices vary based on size of book and products you wish to have in your album. Come in for a one on one consultation. Ask for Flora.
Crop Area
We have a spacious work area in the center of our store that accommodates 20 people comfortably. This enables us to be open for large groups, classes, and other events. You have access to our computer for journaling and use of the silhouette digital die cutting machine.
Meet-up Crops
Meet other local Scrapbookers for conversation, inspiration, and fun. Exchange ideas, techniques, and styles. All levels of experience are welcome, especially NEWCOMERS. Private Crops & Parties
Book a private crop today. Great for baby showers, bridal showers, or even birthday parties. Available with a minimum of 10 or more people. Call today to see how we can help you with your next event.
Frequent Buyer Program
We track your purchases using a punch card. Accumulation of $200 in sales earns a $20 discount on your next purchase. This program cannot be used in conjuction with the Quickutz Klub program or other special sales events.
Quickutz Klub
This special group requires a $50.00 annual membership.
Membership gives you a 25% off all Quickutz all the time (except the silhouette ).
40% off one item on the day of joining (except the silhouette).
Invitation to the Quarterly Events where you receive a FREE die. (selected by the store).
You will be notified about new releases and will have unique specials made available to members only.
Quickutz discounts will not be annotated on the Frequent Buyer Cards.
Frequent buyer cards are not accepted in combination with QKK discounts.
Basic Scrapbooking Class
New to scrapbooking? This is where is all begins. This class covers terminology and use of basic scrapbooking tools and products. Bring in 6-8 photos of an everyday event and you will leave with your first completed scrapbook page. Class is FREE and we schedule a time that works best for you. Call or come in to set up your first class.
Specialty Classes
Are offered periodically and consists of making a specific project. These classes will be posted on the events calendar and notification of class being offered will be sent on the newsletter via email. Don’t get left out, sign up to receive our FREE email.
Silhouette Digital Die-Cutting MachineWorkshops
Broken down into three levels: basic- familiarization of terminology, equipment and program, as well as where to get help. you will learn how to do basic machine functions. FREE with the purchase of a silhouette digital die-cutting machine. At midlevel – use of specialty paper, vinyl (by itself or for use with glass etching), and paper pricking. The advanced workshop – covers importing scanned images and 3 dimensional die cuts, it is necessary to include grouping, ungrouping welding and outlining. Midlevel and Advanced classes are $20 each.
